light thoughts

I do wonder sometimes, will i ever find my voice and learn how to blow my own trumpet... or will i sit. and wait. some more. time will tell. i guess.

The shot above was made in a random moment when the light was 'just right' ~ it was in the middle of a weekend long workshop, standing in the middle of a beautiful old cemetery. I learnt so much that weekend. I think I was still reeling a week later, but now, two weeks on {with the assignment safely submitted} I'm feeling much more settled, and am ever so grateful for how much information i absorbed. Can't wait for the next one.

  1. I hope you find your voice and yell it to the world. Watching you develop and grow over the last few years has been amazing and inspirational.

  2. Great's to finding your voice. x

  3. Great shot. She looks like an edgey angel with her hair all aglow. The light is perfectly captured.
...regarding your trumpet, it will blow as your confidence increases. x

  4. EVERYONE should hear the voice I hear. Mum

  5. Beautiful light!

    Have a lovely day!

  6. Some people are able to promote themselves without any effort whatsoever. Others, like you and me, find it hard to accept when others tell us that we're good at things. I hope that you hear it often enough for long enough that slowly the emphasis shifts and you can shout out for yourself also.

You are talented Jo, we all see it.

  7. Sometimes when the trumpet has been blown, the sound isn't always the music we expect.
Jo, your images are coming together to create a magnificent orchestra all on their own.
